1. Company identity

2. Card-payment role

Under Kordiva's current Stripe Connect payment flow, Kordiva is the merchant-of-record/payment party for card processing. The customer card payment is processed through Kordiva and the merchant's eligible proceeds are paid out through the connected payout infrastructure.

This payment role does not make Kordiva the seller, supplier, reseller, owner, or licensor of a merchant's goods or services.

3. Merchant as seller of record

The merchant operating the store remains the seller of record for the goods or services offered in that store. The merchant is responsible for product or service legality, fulfilment, delivery, customer rights, returns, tax treatment, invoices and fiscal documents required for its business.

4. Refunds and disputes

Kordiva operates the payment-side tooling used to initiate card refunds, respond to payment-processor events, and apply payout or reserve controls. The merchant remains responsible for the commercial basis of a refund or customer claim and for supplying fulfilment or delivery evidence when required.

5. Verification and payout dependencies

Payment acceptance and payouts depend on successful Stripe and banking verification, KYC/KYB requirements, supported business activity, risk controls, and the merchant's compliance with Kordiva policies.
